The existing Home Farm complex consists of a derelict farm and stables situated on the outskirts of the attractive Attenborough Nature Reserve in Long Eaton. The form follows a series of wings which wrap around to the rear. Our Client purchased the land in 2019 and appointed MNCN Architecture as the architect to develop a scheme for the design of a landmark office development with storage at it’s lower level for their relocation and the use of other professional entities.

The design followed a number of story-lines; incorporating a natural material palette at the upper, more visible portion of the building to compliment the surrounding natural beauty, opening the building up to the surrounding views and light ingress with expanses of glazing, having a grand entrance and having a wealth of amenities including an inviting communal courtyard to improve the well-being of workers.
The final design for the Home Farm Offices creates a contemporary workplace with generous open-plan working spaces that is sympathetic it’s rural surroundings.
