- Building Regulations Form Submission To Local Authority
Following the planning stage of a project comes building regulations. At this stage, a drawing package requires developing to a detail that shows the standards to which the proposal will be built, thus ensuring this is inline with all relevant guidelines and regulations (such as the approved documents and british standards). Much like the planning stage, this drawing package is submitted to the local authority in the attempt to obtain the relevant approval once complete.
In addition to the architectural package, items such as structural calculations are required to be obtained from qualified professionals at this stage. These are also submitted to the local authority for approval prior to moving the project forward to construction.
